JustGiving’s partnership with LibertyPay enables you to receive contactless card donations through contactless donation devices linked to your JustGiving account. All the donations get logged in your JustGiving reports and are paid straight into your bank account from JustGiving, as standard.

How quickly do we receive contactless donations made through LibertyPay?
All donations processed are paid out weekly in line with the same process for all other types of donations on JustGiving.
How do I identify contactless donations made through LibertyPay in my reports?
If you are on the Grow or Pro plan and have access to reporting, each donation can be found in your payment report within your Charity Account, just look out for the following columns:
- Product Source = Liberty Pay
- Payment Type = Contactless
- Third Party Reference = {transactionID}
If you’re on the Start plan, you won’t be able to report on the contactless donations you receive within your JustGiving account. You will be able to view your transactions in your LibertyPay Portal.
Can Gift Aid be added to these donations?
Yes, you can collect Gift Aid on donations processed through LibertyPay's devices. A QR code is presented to the donor on the contactless donation device, after they’ve donated. Once scanned, this takes them to a Gift Aid declaration form.
If JustGiving is acting as a Gift Aid agent for your charity, we’ll capture this data and include it in a future Gift Aid claim we submit to HMRC on your behalf.
Can the donations be directed to a specific Fundraising Page or Campaign Page?
Yes, LibertyPay’s devices can be set up to direct donations to a Fundraising or Campaign Page of your or your fundraiser’s choice. This means that the Fundraising or Campaign Page will include the donations received via a contactless donation device. The connection between your device and a Fundraising or Campaign Page is established during your onboarding with LibertyPay.
What do the devices look like? Can we brand them?
LibertyPay's contactless donation devices can be used in lots of different ways and you can add your branding. Please contact LibertyPay to find out more.
Does LibertyPay provide QR Codes & NFC Tags?
LibertyPay can supply a whole range of printed materials that are QR and NFC compatible.
Once registered with LibertyPay you can create and edit as many QR codes as you like.
What are QR Codes & NFC Tags?
Donors can scan a QR code to make payments on their mobile or tablet. QR codes work perfectly on printed or digital material like leaflets, table toppers, posters, or digital adverts, easily bringing your donations online.
NFC tags are similar to QR codes, but without the need to scan through your mobile camera - donors simply hover their phone over the NFC tag, which automatically directs them to the donation page. NFC Tags are perfect for in-store signage and all kinds of merchandise.
Contact LibertyPay to find out more about digital QR Codes and NFC Tags.
What fees apply to contactless donations made through LibertyPay?
We apply a flat 5% fee to these donations and deduct it before sending the donations to you.
How do I get a device and what does it cost?
