Your trust and the security of your supporters’ online donations are important to us. It’s a responsibility we take very seriously.
That’s why JustGiving has Know Your Customer (KYC) policies – they comply with the Australian Government’s Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Regulations, and provide you and your supporters with additional reassurance that our account security processes mitigate risks associated with financial transaction processing.
Our KYC policy includes identifying and verifying information about your Board Directors/Trustees (Responsible Persons). We have to do this periodically for all AU charities registered on JustGiving, and any new organisations joining the platform.
What do you need to submit?
- The names of two Trustees/Directors (Responsible Persons), their dates of birth and home addresses.
- A copy of valid photo ID (passport or driving licence – front & back) .
- AGM meting minutes to verify the positions of your Board Directors/Trustees (Responsible Persons).
Who can be accepted as a Responsible Person?
This will depend on your organisation type/structure of your organisation. Please see table of whom we can accept based on your organisation type.
If you are still unclear who we can accept or these positions are not filled within your organisation, please contact registrations-apac@justgiving.com.
